Locks Heath edged closer to the Hampshire Premier League title after a dramatic 3-2 win over Clanfield.
The match saw two heavyweights of the league go head-to-head with the chance to decide the title race.
Heath, who currently lead the way were in search of their ninth league victory on the trot.
Ryan Lock scored a brace to take his tally for the season to 27 goals from just 22 appearances.
And as a result he edged ahead of Jordan Neal who scored the other goal. Neal has 26 for the season from 28 appearances.
But, as expected, it was a nervy game and could have gone either way.
Heath will be buoyed by Colden Common’s 3-1 defeat to AFC Aldermaston.
Although AFC Stoneham edged a 1-0 win over Winchester Castle to keep the race very much alive.
As a result, Locks Heath remain top while Clanfield may well be out of the race and lie in third but have no games in hand.
