Locks Heath beat Winchester Castle 2-0 this weekend to make it 50 points for the season.
The side widely tipped for the Hampshire Premier League title delivered a routine win but it wasn’t all their way in a fairly close contest.
Winchester Castle did have a few chances in the first moments to possibly create an upset but were unable to convert their chances.
Although, one player who was able to convert his opportunities was Ashley Tattersall for Locks Heath.
He scored two goals and was man of the match after his persistent running and control on the ball.
The Locks Heath player has now scored three goals in his last two games which has helped to take the weight off the two goal machines of Jordan Neal and Ryan Lock.
The win ensures that the eight point advantage at the top is cemented after second placed Clanfield edged past Fleetlands with a 2-1 win, although Heath hold a goal difference far superior to their nearest rivals.
