Locks Heath end 2012 with routine win

Locks Heath ended 2012 with a 5-2 victory over Paulsgrove in the Hampshire Premier League.

The result meant that Locks Heath completed the year with six straight wins which has kept them on top of the pile.

Five different scorers for Locks Heath in this game with Jordan Neal adding to his goal tally for the season – that’s 24 goals in 24 games for the striker now!

Ashley Tattersall, Ryan Lock, Matthew Northcott and Joseph Moreton scored a goal apiece in the emphatic victory.

The victory ensured they held their advantage at the top of the table, and actually extended their lead after second place Clanfield lost 2-1 at home to AFC Stoneham.

That means that Locks Heath are on 47 points and are eight clear of Clanfield.

Locks Heath have won 15, drawn two and lost just once in 18 games.

Locks Heath play away to Winchester Castle on January 5 for the first game of 2013.
